When starting new skills, sometimes the familiar 4" of the balance beam becomes an untamed animal that athletes must face. The Carolina Gym Supply Balance Beam Training Pad enlarges the width of the balance beam from 4" to 6.5", and that extra 2.5" can be crucial to developing an athlete's confidence!
The Carolina Gym Supply Balance Beam Training Pad is made of stiff 1.25" closed-cell, crosslink foam to provide a more forgiving practice surface and stable footing. The design is such that the top panel of our Balance Beam Training Pad is supported by panels on either side of the beam, forming corners for solid footing and grip. This is a stronger structural design than most training pads on the market.
With the webbing and side-release buckle system for securing it to the beam, the Carolina Gym Supply Balance Beam Training Pad is not going to budge once it is tightened to your balance beam. Unlike hook/loop fastener that will wear out and lose its grip, our proven buckle system will last for years! In the event a buckle breaks, call us and we will be happy to send replacement buckles to you.
Covering half the length of a regulation balance beam, the 8' 2.5" of our Balance Beam Training Pad can be used as an individual unit on the beam, or you can add a second one to cover the entire length of the beam. For less than $500, you have a brand new training beam! Loop fastener is sewn onto the top of all Carolina Gym Supply Balance Beam Training Pads, and comes with a double-hook flap that can be used to connect two Balance Beam Training Pads together.
Most people get the vinyl version of the Carolina Gym Supply Balance Beam Training Pad, but we do offer a synthetic suede option as well! The suede option offers all of the unparalleled features, with the added feature of feeling similar to the balance beam itself!
